A week’s camping – Adventure, Fun & Activities
Parents and Scouts & Cubs needed to help the Supporters Group
Duties will be: cooking of Burgers, Sausages and serving hot and cold drinks
Assemble at 10.00hrs near the Cricket Hut. Finish at approx. 15.00hrs
We are supporting the River Stour Trust with this big event. 240 boats i.e. Kayaks and Canadian Canoes will be paddling from Sudbury to Bures
All proceeds to Scout Group Funds
All welcome. Discussing the Jumble Sale, group finances, Leader training, future projects.
Water games on the Public Boating Lake at Thorpness Meare near Aldeburgh. Fun, Boating, Tug of War, Mud Mud and dip in the Sea!
District DC Challenge Competition held at Bradfield Combust Camp Site. Open to all Scouts and is free.
Camping, Hiking & Team Challenges.

Parents and Scouts needed to help clear up leaves and wood around the camping area ready for winter shutdown.

Scouts and Leaders for Remembrance Day Parade and Service at St Mary’s Church
Full Uniform. Meet outside Post Office.
Church Service and Parade to War Memorial
Cubs, Beavers, Leaders and Parents to attend Service at Primary School for Remembrance Day Service.
Full Uniform, poppy and coat needed
Afterwards meet outside Post Office (approx. 11.20am) to parade with Scouts to War Memorial.
Finish at 11.45am outside War Memorial
All welcome. Census, Gift Aid, finances, Jumble Sale
All parents of the Scout Group and members of Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to help sort out Jumble/Bric-a-Brac in the morning from 10am-12 noon.
Serve customers from 2pm-4pm.
Full Uniform needed.
Parents to help serve customers as well and help with clearing up.
All done by 5pm
