Cubs

Cubs meet on Thursday evenings from 18.30hrs to 20.00hrs during school term-time at The Scout Headquarters, The Croft, Bures, Suffolk CO8 5JD.

Activities

We follow the National Cub Scout Programme and include a range of activities to allow the Cubs to complete work towards Challenge and Activity Badges. If a Cub completes all the relevant activities set on Pack nights, then they will progressively be awarded Badges to display proudly on his/her Uniform. Full details of all the badges can be found on the Scouting website.

Activities are indoor and outdoor and include map & compass work, tracking, short hikes, cooking, tent pitching, making camp gadgets, team and individual tasks, arts & crafts and educational items.

Investiture

New Cubs will be invested in four-six weeks once they have a Cub Uniform top and activity trousers, Scout Belt and have learnt their Cub Scout Promise & Law. Investiture will take place at the start of the meeting – family members are welcome to attend.
