Access to the Scout and Guide
Headquarters
Access to the HQ by
car
is from the
Sudbury Road
entrance
(B1508)
just past the
cottages
(Croft End).
You must only access this entrance and exit via
The Croft ensuring a One-way System is operational.
This helps minimize traffic congestion. However,
residents
returning home will be entering
The Croft
from the
High Street.
You
do not
have right of way and
courtesy
should be given to residents at all times. When dropping off and
collecting please be aware of resident’s
right of access
to all homes in The Croft particularly to the cottages opposite
and beyond the Scout & Guide Headquarters.
Speed limit
down
The Croft
is
10mph.
At
no time should you
exit
via the Sudbury Road, as it is on a dangerous corner.
If you
require
seeing
a Leader at the end of the meeting – please come down at
least
10 minutes
before the meeting finishes and park your car in the car park so
as
not
to
block
the road – thanks.

share, walk or cycle – thanks.
Supporters
Committee
We would like to welcome all parents to serve on the
supporters’ committee, to help raise money for new
equipment, running costs, and the organising of events. Informal
meetings are held six times a year at the Scout & Guide
Headquarters.
During the year, a few work mornings/afternoons
are organised, to
help keep the hut clean and tidy, and parents are welcome to
help.
