We meet on a Tuesday evening from 19.30hrs to 21.30hrs at The Scout Headquarters, The Croft, Bures CO8 5JD
We offer a wide and varied range of activities that provide a balanced programme, allowing each member to work towards Challenge and Activity Badges and Duke of Edinburgh Awards. These badges are part of the National Explorer Programme aimed at encouraging development and providing new challenges.
Activities are both indoor and outdoors, they include individual tasks as well as team challenges. They range from camping, hiking, climbing, kayaking, District and County Events.
New Explorers will be invested in four-six weeks once they have their Explorer Uniform (shirt and activity trousers) and have learnt their Promise and Law. Investiture will take place at the end of the meeting – family members are welcome to attend.
