Duck Race/Fund Raising Meeting

Here is a reminder for our meeting on Tuesday night, 26th March at 7pm in the Scout Headquarters.

This event is really important to us as any money raised will help us to support our costs including subscriptions, minibus and updating equipment for our activities.

To all Parents/Guardians, Explorers, Leaders and Supporters.
After everyone’s help last year, we managed to make Duck Race 2023 a great success! As such, we are now planning to host another one this year on Saturday June 8th.

We are hoping to make this one even better by potentially having some extra activities, refreshments and hopefully more ducks on the river!

To make all this happen, it would be great to have some extra help.

We are looking for volunteers to assist with selling tickets, seeking prizes, organising ducks, refreshments and other on the day tasks and we would also welcome any other ideas as to how we can make the day even more successful and ultimately raise more money to put directly back into the Scout Group.
