Remembrance Day Parade 2024

Beavers, Cubs, Scouts & Explorers will assemble outside the Post Office, Church Square at  10.00hrs and then walk into the St Mary’s Church for the service to start at 10.30hrs.

Parade will finish at 11.45hrs outside the War Memorial.

You will need: Smart shoes, Full Uniform including Scout belt (Scouts and Explorers) and blue Activity Trousers (all Sections), ironed scarf, money for collection, poppy and coat if cold. Best to wear a T-shirt under your uniform. NO football shirts!

St Mary's Church, Bures

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
