AGM & Presentation Awards evening – September 2021

We had a very packed out Scout Headquarters with parents and members from all sections present in the hall.

Cathy Platt (Chair) read out her report and this was her last one as she is standing after 11 years service. Also leaving is Caroline Head (Secretary) – both were presented with flowers and gardening vouchers by Scouts and Tony Waring (GSL).

Bill Snelling was also hanging his position of Troop Treasurer – Bill has been Group Treasurer (1979-2006)  and Treasurer since 1979 (1979-2021) and has supported the group in its growth, cutting grass, maintenance and getting grants over the years.

Each Section Leaders presented many awards to the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers.

The evening finished with coffee and biscuits.
