Planting at the Railway Station
On Tuesday 6th May 2025 Bures Scouts came and planted begonias in the flower bed at the railway station garden and planted in the shape of 200 which represents 200 years of British Rail this year! We are waiting for a new sign to explain this!

A huge thank you to Pippa, Francesca, Cam and Huck for your really good hard work planting them all and watering. You all worked so hard, it was a real delight to be with you all. THANK YOU SO MUCH from all the station adopters and to Paul the Scout Leader for arranging the evening planting.
And Pippa found the painting she did several years ago when at Bures School on the subject of climate change, it says SAVE OUR PLANET.

The finished border with 200.
A huge Thank you to all of you for your help! When you walk up the path to the platform at the station, you will see the flower bed on the right hand side and see their hard work. Mary, Station Adopter.
